Rules

We hope you and your dog(s) will enjoy using these facilities. Please follow these few simple rules so that we can continue to make this available for others to enjoy.

  • Wear sensible footwear and take care as the ground is uneven in places
  • Show your dog’s vaccination card when you first attend, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer and wll be given a copy of these rules. Regular users who have paid by card on booking do not need to report to staff on arrival, especially in the morning when they are likely to be working in kennels.
  • No bitches in season may use the facility.
  • Pick up any faeces deposited by your dog (even if it means walking to the far end just as you are about to leave – this seems to be a trick many dogs enjoy playing!)
  • Please DO NOT ATTEND if your dog has had an upset tummy in the three days before your appointment—call the centre, and we will transfer your booking if possible. You should not attend if your dog has been in contact with any infection for up to three weeks prior.
  • Pick up any toys you use and return them to their rightful place.
  • Take especial care on arrival and departure so you don’t have an encounter with the last or next appointment – many dogs using this facility will be reactive.
  • You should only take your dog from your car to the paddock and back – please do not walk him/her around the site as it may cause annoyance to our resident dogs. YOUR DOG MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD UNTIL WITHIN THE ENCLOSED PADDOCK.
  • As with any area frequented by dogs from different backgrounds, despite our preventative measures we cannot guarantee your dog’s health, and by using the facility you accept this risk.
