Bankside Farm offers a level, two-acre dog exercise field in Ditchling Common. Fresh water, drinking bowls, picnic benches, a small shelter and a dog waste bin are provided.
The field has four-foot stock fencing. It may not suit very small dogs or high jumpers. The operator asks visitors to inspect the boundary for their own dog’s needs.
Reserve a half-hour or hour through the operator’s booking system. Parking is about 70 metres from the field; keep dogs on short leads along the access route. A gap between bookings helps separate arriving and departing dogs.
Turn off the B2112 Ditchling Road between Janes Lane and Pepper Close at the sign for Bankside Farm and John Lloyd Fine Furniture. Follow the drive behind the barns and use the marked dog-field parking. Look for Bankside Farm rather than the separate property called Bankside. Follow the operator’s directions to reach the field on foot.
