Set in four acres of private land, Barky Park provides a space where you can bring your furry friends to enjoy off-lead activities. Be it walking, running, practicing recall, socialising or simply having a good old sniff, you can do that at Barky Park.
Located on the grounds of the Dirok Caravan & Motorhome site, Barky Park is fully enclosed by stock fencing with horse wire, which is perfect for dogs that can’t jump over 4ft!
Much of the four acres is left wild to allow our pooches to run and hide, and it provides great enrichment and sniffing opportunities. There are hundreds of wild flowers in the summer, much the same as the flowers you’ll see in open fields across the countryside – it’s important to make sure your fur babies don’t eat them though because some of them could be toxic.
We have our ‘snack shack’ on site where we serve hot & cold drinks, snacks, and dog treats – it’s open by prior agreement and is available for private hire if you’d like to arrange a party and bring your own supplies.
The wooden pergola and tables and chairs are there for the hoomans to stay dry and comfortable on the wetter days.
