Barklands Secure Dog Walking Field offers three acres for private hire in Wilshaw, near Holmfirth. The grass field has fencing at least six feet high and a padlock to secure the gate during your visit.
Basic agility equipment is available in summer and removed in winter. A bin is provided for bagged dog waste.
Book through the operator’s website. Each visit includes one hour in the field, followed by 15 minutes for departure and changeover. Standard bookings accommodate up to six dogs; contact the operator about larger numbers.
Use what3words bags.feeds.last for the entrance on Wilshaw Road. The gate is on the same side as Wilshaw Village Hall, one field further up the road. From Holmfirth it is on the left near the village’s 30mph signs; from Meltham it is on the right after the village hall.
