Beano’s Ballpark at Lower Dacum Farm in Halwin offers private dog exercise near Porkellis. The original Ballpark field covers 2.5 acres and includes a separately fenced training area. Benches and trees provide places to rest, and you can drive into the field when conditions allow.

The Ballpark has four-foot stock fencing alongside Cornish hedges. Check its suitability for your dog before booking. The operator also offers the separate 1.5-acre Bolthole and a 1.5-acre training field with higher fencing; specify which field you want.

Booking your visit

Contact the operator by phone, email or Facebook to arrange your visit. An hour booking includes 50 minutes of field use and five minutes at each end for arrival and departure. Bring your own water, toys and poo bags, and take waste home. First-time visitors complete a registration form and are shown around.

Directions and Access

Lower Dacum Farm is in Halwin, between Porkellis and Carnkie. Take the track opposite School House, beside Halwin School, marked Higher Dacum Farm. Continue past the first farm to the blue postbox. Avoid the double-gated track directly opposite the school. The access track is unsuitable for vehicles wider than seven feet.
