Penwood Canine Exercise Field, also known as Ashbourne Carefree Canine Exercise Field, offers private use of more than 5.5 acres in Yeldersley, around two miles from Ashbourne.
The enclosed countryside field provides space for off-lead exercise, recall practice and scent work. Fencing ranges from 4.5 to 6 feet, and visitors can drive into the field and park inside the enclosure.
A small agility and enrichment area offers optional activities during your session. There is also a shelter, seating and a hosepipe for muddy visits. Natural terrain and countryside scents give dogs plenty to investigate; wildlife may occasionally be present.

The field is at Penwood Stables, Ladyhole Lane, Yeldersley, Ashbourne, DE6 1LR. Follow the operator’s arrival instructions and secure the entrance before letting dogs off lead. Parking is available inside the enclosure.
